OVERVIEW
Our customers often ask us, "what kind of equipment do you use "? Even though the photographer and his skilled use of light, is responsible for most of the final result, the camera equipment does indeed play a vital role in achieving the professional quality results you demand. P3 Property Imaging Co. uses only professional level equipment not available at the local "big box" stores. Our cameras and lenses are the finest made, withstanding the rigors of constant professional use, and costing many thousands of dollars. Equipment this specialized provides for outstanding results in tough conditions (like dark interiors).
CAMERA BODY
This is an easy one. The only camera bodies we use are the Nikon Pro Bodies.....D4 and D850. They are simply the top of the line Nikon cameras today. They are the cameras used by professionals everywhere and provide results and longevity not seen in any consumer level cameras. We also now use the latest mirrorless technology Z6, and have a Z9 on pre-order. We love these cameras !!
LENSES
Although we use a variety of lenses for our work, we primarily use the NEW state of the art Nikon 14-24 f2.8 S lens. This is the choice of professional real estate photographers nationwide. This is a very specialized lens requiring superb technique and understanding of light angles and exposures to use correctly.
We also sometimes use the Nikon 28-70mm f2.8, and the Nikon 70-200 f2.8 E FL lenses as required for the application. They also are professional level lenses. (A secret......One way to identify a PRO LEVEL Nikon lens is to look for the gold ring around the glass end).

TRIPODS / HEADS / FLASH.... ETC.
First things first.....P3 Property Imaging Co rarely (if ever) uses flash....even indoors. Flash leads to images that sometimes do not look natural. We want your home looking perfect.
Every image we shoot of your home will be taken from a tripod (unless space does not allow) with an infra-red remote shutter trigger . Tripods and remote triggers allow for the optimum in sharpness. As such, high quality tripods are a MUST ! Cheap tripods simply don't make the grade. At P3 Property Imaging, we use only carbon fiber tripods from top manufacturers. We use Induro and Gitzo tripods and Induro and RRS ball-heads to insure the pinnacle of steadiness.
